Course Map

1. Great Wall
Scale an 8ft wall. Run along the inside of the wall. Scale down.
2. Eiffel Tower
Climb up a 14 ft. tall sloping cargo net tower and back down the other side.
3. Victoria Falls
Slide down a 190-foot-long slip and slide, home of our World Record attempt.
4. Mount Kilauea
Climb your way up the slopes of the volcano. Beware of falling rocks!
5. Grand Canyon
Weave along the muddy canyon floor. Grab a “torch” high on the canyon walls.
6. Mighty Mac
Walk along the main cable from tower to tower over the mud below.
7. Swiss Alps
Crawl across the sloping cargo nets suspended from high in the trees.
8. Statue of Liberty
Traverse your “torch” along the cable strung across the mud pits.
9. Great Pyramids
Enter a 12 ft. pyramid from the top. Exit through the tunnels below. Don’t forget to grab a “clip”.
10. Oregon Trail
Use your “clip” to tether yourself to the trail. Weave your body along the trail through the obstacle.
11. Amazon Jungle
Bushwhack a trail through the largest rainforest on earth. No paths, only obstruction and chaos.
12. Panama Canal
Trudge your way through the locks then sprint to the finish!

    Registration

    Participants register online here for June 30 or July 1.

    Wave times begin at 10:00am and every 45 minutes until 5:30pm both days. Sunday has two additional wave times at 6:15pm and 7:00pm.

  • Register by February 29: $57*
  • Register by April 15: $67* EXTENDED until June 1!
  • Late Registration until June 20: $72* (shirt & medal not guaranteed)

    Heroes Discount: All active and former military, police, fire, and EMT personnel will get $10 off their registration fee. Email us at register@rocktheworldrace.com before registering to receive the promotional code. Please put “HERO” in the subject line.

    Waivers: Everyone must sign a waiver form in order to compete. These will be available soon. Please bring this with you to the check-in booth. Participants must be at least 14 years old on race day in order to participate. Anyone under 18 will need to have a parent or guardian present at check-in to sign the waiver form.

    Age Restriction: Must be at least 14 years of age to register for race participation.

     

    Course Info

    Course Layout: The course is situated entirely among Fitzgerald Park’s scenic trails. These trails are home to some of the most well know natural rock formations in the state called the Ledges. Be prepared for steep inclines and dramatic descents.

    CAUTION: Please always be aware of bright orange fencing that will be located near rock cliffs. DO NOT APPROACH THESE FENCES!

    Parking

    There will be absolutely NO parking available on-site. Participants and spectators are asked to park in the Grand Ledge High School and Beagle Elementary parking lots. (map) There will be free bus shuttles to Fitzgerald Park.
